RADNOR, Pa. - There's one game left in the regular season and likely at least one post-season game for Rosemont's women's basketball team.
It's not a good time to go into a little bit of a slump.
The Ravens dropped their second game in a row and third in their last four contests on Saturday afternoon, falling to Cabrini by an 80-63 margin in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest in Radnor.
Rosemont is now 14-10 and 8-7 in the CSAC. They have a two game lead on the final playoff spot while only having one game left on Wednesday night against Cairn at Alumnae Hal. The Ravens will have a bye during the final day of the league season.
Cabrini is 14-0 within league play and 21-2 overall and will be the top overall seeds in the CSAC playoffs.
The game was decided in the first quarter. The Cavaliers outscored the Ravens 22-6 in the first quarter on Saturday, putting Rosemont behind the 8-ball before they ever got going in this one.
Jasmyn Parker scored 14 points for Rosemont while
Shawn Dowd added 13 and
Ayanna Thompson had 10 points and four assists.
