ROSEMONT, Pa. -- For Rosemont, another Super Saturday thanks to another second half comeback.
The Ravens rallied from a six-point deficit at the half with a 42-26 showing in the final 20 minutes of a 71-61 win over Baruch (N.Y.) College during the CSAC/CUNYÂ challenge contest at Alumnae Hall.
That's now 6-0 for the Ravens on Saturday afternoon games and 4-0 at home this year.Â
The story of the game for Rosemont was flawless execution in the second half. The Ravens shot 70 percent from the floor in the session after struggling to a 27.6 percentage during the first half.
It was also the tale of the Ravens bench, which outscored Baruch by a 34-13 margin. Part of this was helped by
Nasir Cassel, who scored 18 coming off the bench while
Jalil Myers added nine in a reserve role.
Mekhi Clemons was able to score 12 points and add 10 rebounds for the Ravens.
Baruch had three players in double figures with Bryler Paige and William Sixsmith each scoring 15 while Andre Harris added 11 points in the victory.
The Ravens now have a huge Tuesday night game back within the Colonial States Athletic Conference on Tuesday night when they host Neumann University at Alumnae Hall as the final two week stretch of the conference schedule gets underway.
