READING, PA - It was a tough start for the season for the Rosemont women's volleyball team, who fell in three games in a season opening match at Albright College. They fell by scores of 25-14, 25-5 and 25-17 to the Lions.
It was a series of mistakes that ended up being problem for the Ravens, who committed 20 attack errors and 15 reception errors in the loss.
STANDOUT PERFORMER: The best statistical performer for the Ravens on Friday night was
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter, who recorded a team high six points, 10 digs and had four of the Ravens six aces on the night.
ALWAYS ON THE ATTACK: Rosemont's
Holly Brady was the leader among both teams in Attacks on Friday night, recording 25 of them in the defeat. Brady also recorded four points and five digs on the evening.
LIONS ROAR: Albright's Damaris Gomez
 scored 15 points in the win for the Lions on Friday night. She also recorded eight aces and seven kills
UP NEXT: It's a short turnaround for the Ravens, who have a noon game against the Kings College (N.Y.) at Alumnae Hall. Rosemont will be back at home on Thursday night against Cheyney.
