ROSEMONT, Pa. - There was a little bit of a hiccup at one point. But for the most part, Rosemont's women's volleyball team was pretty flawless. And the end result was the first Ravens win of the season.
Rosemont bounced back from a disappointing second set loss to post a 3-1 win over Cheyney Thursday night on a broiling hot and humid evening at Alumnae Hall.
The Ravens won by scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-6 and 25-15.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter led the way with 18 points and 11 aces on the evenings.
Alyssa Springer and
Abigail Brooks both added 10 points. Springer added 19 assists and six aces on the evening.
The Ravens will head back on the road on Saturday, taking part in a tri-match at Manhattanville College with Rutgers-Newark.
