MBB: Ravens fall at Keystone

La PLUME, PA - Keith Blassingale scored 26 points while Jalil Myers added 24, but it wasn't enough to keep the Rosemont men's basketball team from dropping a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest to Keystone College by a 94-83 margin at the Gambal Athletic Center.

The loss dropped the Ravens to 5-10 overall and 1-3 in the CSAC.

KEY MOMENT: The Giants ended the first half with a 36-19 run over the final 11:30 that allowed them to take a 52-38 lead to the locker room.  The Ravens would spend the second half chipping away, getting as close as three (82-79) on a Blassingale 3-pointer with 1:41 to play. But the Ravens couldn't get over the final hump for the lead against the Giants.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

- Blassingale has now had five games of over 20 points this season. He has had back-to-back games of 20-plus points.

- Myers had 13 rebounds on the afternoon, including six on the offensive glass.

-Jacob Simonson had 12 points while Alex Epps-Ortiz had 10.

- Jalen Flynn had 30 points for the Giants. It was a career high for the junior guard, who shot 13-of-23 from the floor and 4-of-6 from beyond the 3-point arc.

UP NEXT: The Ravens return home for a Wednesday night CSAC contest against Cairn. The Ravens Rally Night contest will tip-off at 8 p.m. It is one of three straight games for Rosemont at Alumnae Hall and five of the next six after playing 13 of its first 15 games away from home.
