ROSEMONT -- The offense got going and Rosemont's men's basketball team was able to get back in the win column.
The Ravens were able to ride some hot shooting in the first half and pulled away to a 93-66 win over Clarks Summit Friday night in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest at Alumnae Hall.
The 93 points were the most by the Ravens this season, topping the previous best of 89 set against DeSales University back on Nov. 13. And it was a variety of sources that produced some big moments.
KEY MOMENTS: Rosemont get into the grill of the Defenders, forcing 22 turnovers on the night and allowing them to turn that into 46 points. It created a defensive fury that helped them pull away in the opening moments of the second half after Clarks Summit had cut the lead to 14 at one point. The lead would swell back to as large as 33 at one point late in the second half.

Chris Briner had a career-high 24 points on 7 of 9 shooting from the floor and 4 of 6 from beyond the 3 point arc. Most of the damage that was done in the first half.

Keith Blassingale had 20 points. It is the fourth straight game that Blassingale has scored 20 or more points and the eighth game this season.Â

Perry Belcher had 16 points and four assists on the evening.

Nick Gemmell and
Jacob Simonson both had eight points. Simonson had a game-high nine rebounds.
UP NEXT: The Ravens go back outside the CSAC for their final two non-conference games of the year this week. It starts with a Monday evening game against Arcadia at Alumnae Hall. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. After a road game at Immaculata on Wednesday night, the Ravens return to CSAC play next Saturday afternoon when they host Keystone at 3 p.m.
