Hackettstown, NJ- The women's volleyball team took on the Cyclones of Centenary University on Thursday evening and won 3-2 in their first conference matchup.
The Ravens played an excellent match and won the first set 25-20. They fell behind 11-7 in the first match, and they were down 20-18, before going on a 7-0 run. The Ravens dropped the second and third sets 25-14. The bounced back in the fourth set to win 25-21. During the fifth set, Rosemont trailed 7-3 and called a timeout. The match went back and forth and Rosemont trailed 15-14, before
Abigail Brooks had 3 straight kills to defeat the Cyclones. Brooks had a team high 16 kills for the Ravens.Â
The Ravens were down several times in the match, but fought back and played with a lot of energy.
Julianna Capece had a game high 22 digs.
Alyssa Springer had a game high 28 assists.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had an historic night with 8 kills and moved up to third place in the all-time record book for kills at Rosemont College. Naone-Carter now has 452 career kills which passes Morgan Rollins who had 444 kills between 2014-2018.
