Clarks Summit, Pa- The women's volleyball team took on the Defenders of Clarks Summit on Saturday morning and lost the conference matchup by a score of 0-3.
The Ravens struggled early in the first set. There were several attack errors and one service error early that ultimately led to the Ravens losing the first set by a score of 25-18. There wasn't much of a difference in the second set and the Ravens went down early and lost this set by a score of 25-12. In the third set the Ravens came out more aggressive but started to fall behind. Coach Feeny called a crucial timeout when the Ravens were down 16-12. The Ravens battled, but eventually lost this set by a score of 25-21.
The slow starts and the crowds energy on the Defenders Senior Day were big parts of the outcome in today's matchup.Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter led the Ravens with five kills while Alyssa Springer and Catherine McCarthy both chipped in with two kills.
The Ravens will take on Keystone College on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:00pm in a home matchup.
