Rosemont, Pa- The Rosemont women's volleyball team faced Keystone College in a conference matchup on Wednesday evening and lost 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-17). The Ravens battled hard and played as a team, but
struggled with
serve-receive.
Although the Ravens lost the match, it was a record breaking night for multiple players.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter moved up the all-time record leaderboard in kills. Naone-Carter's game high, 11 kills, moved her up to second on the all-time kills list for Rosemont women's volleyball. Naone-Carter's 463 kills passes Karen Boyle (2007-2011) who held the number two spot before Naone-Carter with 458 kills.
The record breaking night didn't end there. Junior,
Alyssa Springer, became the Rosemont women's volleyball all-time leader in assists. Springer had a game high 21 assists on the night. Springer's 851 assists passes former all-time assists leader, Christa Bednarek (2007-2011) who tallied 840 assists in her career.
Sophomore
Abigail Brooks finished with nine kills on the night.
The Ravens will be back in action at home on Thursday, October 10 when they face New Jersey City University at 7:00 pm.
