Rosemont, PA- The Men's basketball team lost their matchup against DeSales University on Saturday afternoon with a final score of 86-65.
The first ten minutes of the first half was even play with DeSales and Rosemont going back in forth. The Bulldogs then started to break away after a big dunk on a fast break by DeSales sophomore Keba Mitchell. The Ravens then got into a cold streak and found themselves down 52-34 at the half.
In the second half, the Ravens played better defense and made some runs but it was not enough. The Ravens held DeSales to 34 points in this half, The biggest problem for Rosemont was rebounding. DeSales finished with 56 rebounds while Rosemont finished with 15. DeSales gained 20 second chance points off these rebounds while Rosemont only gained three.
Both Zaire Mitchell and Nick Gemmell chipped in 11 points and 3 rebounds for the Ravens.
Rosemont will be back in action Monday against Drexel University at 11:30am.
