Doylestown, PA- The Ravens traveled to Delaware Valley University to play the Aggies in the first game of the season.
The first quarter was a struggle for the Ravens. They came out to a slow start only scoring eight points in the first quarter and giving up 21 points. They improved their play in the second quarter but still found themselves down 35-18 at the half.
The second half was a different story, the Ravens outscored and out rebounded Delaware Valley in the third quarter. The Ravens also shot 33.3% from the 3 point line while preventing the Rams for hitting a single 3 in the quarter. The Ravens carried the momentum into the fourth playing stifling defense, and playing with heart and passion. Sophomore Jordan Dawson hit the game winning field goal with 5 seconds left in the game.
Angel Ricks recorded her first double double of the season recording 17 points and 16 rebounds. Jordan Dawson finished with 7 points and 11 rebounds. Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had 16 points.
The Ravens will be back in action at home on November 12th against Brooklyn College at 7:00 pm.
