Langhorne, PA- The women's basketball team took on the Highlanders of Cairn University on Wednesday evening and won 77-61.
The first quarter was very even with 10 lead changes. Rosemont led 22-20 after the first quarter. Rosemont led 40-38 at halftime after another even quarter.
The third quarter was a defensive battle that featured low scoring. The game was tied going into the 4
th quarter.
Rosemont dominated the 4
th quarter and outscored Cairn 23-7. The Ravens played superb defense and Cairn shot 1-13 from the field.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had ten points in the 4
th quarter to propel the Ravens. Naone-Carter finished with 34 points and 11 rebounds for the game.
Angel Ricks was unstoppable on the glass as she finished with a career high 18 rebounds to go along with 16 points. Rosemont was aggressive on the boards tonight and had 21 offensive rebounds. The Ravens shot 40% from the field and held Cairn to 30% from the field.
The Ravens defense was efficient throughout the game and forced the Highlanders to commit 16 turnovers. The Ravens were able to get out in transition from the turnovers and had 19 fast break points.
Jordan Dawson finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the Ravens.

Rosemont women's basketball improves to 3-3 on the season. The Ravens will be back in action next Saturday, December 14
th at 1:00 PM to take on John Jay College at home.
