Bryn Athyn, PA- The men's basketball team matched up against Bryn Athyn College on Saturday afternoon and lost 75-66.
During the first ten minutes of the game, Rosemont jumped out to an early 18-8 lead. Bryn Athyn would go on a 23-7 run to end the first half, and led 31-25 going into halftime. Both teams struggled shooting the ball in the first half as Rosemont shot 27% from the field while Bryn Athyn shot 35%.

To start the second half, it was a back and forth game with six lead changes. The game was tied at 62-62 with 2:47 left, but the Lions would score a layup and then make a three to lead 67-62 with 1:15 left. Bryn Athyn would make clutch free throws at the end to close the game. The Lions shot 31-38 from the free throw line for the game. Rosemont dominated points in the paint and outscored Bryn Athyn 34-20. The Ravens shot 83% from the free throw line for the game. 

Chris Briner led the team with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Perry Belcher had 9 points and 8 rebounds. Zaire Mitchell added 12 points for the Ravens.

The men's basketball record is now 5-12 and 2-4 in Conference Play. Rosemont will host Centenary University at home on Wednesday, January 22^nd at 8:00 PM.
