Bryn Mawr, PA| Muhlenburg College Traveled to Rosemont to take on the Men's Basketball team in their Home Opener.
How it Happened:
From the tip Muhlenberg brought intense defense that transitioned into fast break offense off the turnovers of the Ravens. They mounted to a ten point lead out the gate and did not give up a lead the remainder of the game. Rosemont would fight hard, not letting any shot go up uncontested, but Muhlenberg outside shot was on in the first half going 8-12 from three point range. Rosemont would go on a few runs of their own during the half, bringing the score back to a ten point game nearing the end of the half. Muhlenberg would end the half wih a couple of free throws as the score at half was 47-27.
The second half was more of the Rosemont basketball we love to watch, the ball movement improved along with their outside shooting percentage, and the turnovers decreased. Some good offensive runs at the beginning of the half brought the score within twelve but Muhlenbergs offense kept the lead.
Leading the way for the Ravens was
Bruce Black with 13 followed by Fatayn and Denelle with 11.
