Bryn Mawr, PA| Clarks Summit Made the Long Trip to Rosemont to Take on the Ravens in an In Conference Matchup.
How it Happened:
The first time in Rosemont Men's Basketball history, the tip-off was a front court violation as Clarks Summit gained possession from the start. Both teams had trouble finding the bottom of the net to start the game. Clarks Summit would get on the board first as Coach Hughes opted for the early timeout to get his guys back on the same page. Out of the timeout the Ravens were able to find their offense. Back and forth through the first half, neither team seemed to inch ahead as Clarks Summit went into the half with a three point lead 35-32. Ravens came out of the half with an unmatched defensive intensity as they forced turnovers, forcing Clarks Summit on their heels on the defensive end.
Fatayn Wesley had a night playing 25' off the bench where he would make great passes and knock down key shots throughout the second half. The Ravens dominated the second half as they made the extra pass leading to open shots. The Ravens top the Defenders 74-54 for their first win of the year. Leading the way for the Ravens was
Fatayn Wesley with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, followed by
Brian Mordi with 14 points including a Showtime fastbreak dunk.
