The Rosemont Ravens (2-4) took game three of the series against the home team King's College
Monarchs 14-4 at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, MD. The offense erupted for 15 hits, 5 of
which were for extra bases. Left fielder
Jamen Palladino hit the team's first home run of the
season, in addition to scoring three times and collecting 2 RBI. Senior captains
Colin McCormick
and
Dominic Fernicola had two hits a piece and collected a combined 5 RBI. The star of the series
at the plate for the Ravens was first baseman
Ethan Wood who went 3-4 with 3 runs scoredÂ
and 2 RBI on the day. In the three-game series, Wood went 8-12 with 6 RBI, 4 doubles, a triple
and he scored 5 runs.

Brett Angelillo (W) combined to pitch 5.2 scoreless
innings of relief to steady the game for the Ravens. A trio of freshmen pitchers in
Nick Skoufalos ,
Tim Shell and
Patrick McCallister each threw a scoreless inning to close out the game.
The Ravens next travel to Delaware Valley University on Friday, March 10 th for a 12pm
doubleheader. The team plays another non-conference doubleheader a day later as well at
Neumann University.
