Immaculata traveled to Rosemont to compete in a match that took place at 6pm in the Community Center.
How It Happened:
The first set was a back and forth battle as Rosemont scored the first three points and Immaculata answered with their own run of six. As the set went on Rosemont came out on top 25-23 (1) to lead 1-0. The second set Immaculata started off hot getting out front 7-1 forcing the raven's to play catchup. They cut the lead to 10-6 but Immaculata held on winning the set 25-19 (2). The third set was all Immaculata as they kept momentum from the second set carrying it over winning 25-13 (3). The Ravens found the fight as they were down in the fourth set and crawled back to square it up 26-24 (4). Leading the way in the fourth set with great kills was
Madeline McCarthy and
Evora Kaiwi. The fifth set was all Immaculata as they cleaned up the win 15-5 (5). Some impressive stats from Alison Creeden totaling 16 assists, and 11 total kills from
Madeline McCarthy followed by
Evora Kaiwi with 7.
