The Men's Golf Team traveled to Philmont Country Club to compete in the United East Preview
How it Happened:
On a drizzly Tuesday afternoon, Todd Berman started of with a drive down the right side of the first hole to kick off the tournament on the Philmont Country Club North Course. The course was damp from the recent rain fall, making the greens soft and attackable, while the rough would absorb any shot into it made the course challenging if you could not keep it in the short grass. The local rules gave golfers today lift-clean and place in the fairway, along with lift-clean and drop in the rough (which did not make it easier for the golfers with the length of the rough.) Todd Berman in his first colligate golf tournament carded a 105 finishing him in 37th. Aidan Rigney had a solid front nine carding a 42, but struggled on the tough stretch of holes from 12-16 carding a 47 on the back for an 89 overall finishing him T-21. Ryan Slee had a day, playing solid on the front nine carding a 43, but really found his stride on the back nine. Ryan was stripping his driver putting himself in great positions to capitalize on the gruesome back nine. He carded a 37 on the back nine finishing with an 80 and a podium spot in solo 3rd. 
What's Next:
The Men's Golf Team will travel to North New Jersey to compete in Drew Universities home tournament October 5th.
