Bryn Mawr, PA| Gwynedd Mercy travel to Rosemont to take of the Ravens in Alumnae Hall in an out of Conference Matchup
How it Happened:
Gwynedd Mercy got of to an early jump scoring on their first possession and their next two consecutive to mount an early lead of the Ravens. As the first half went on the Ravens would maintain holding on within ten as the fist half continued. They would be with eight at the 9 minute mark with a big 3pt from Zaki Gomez. As the first half continued Rosemont could not stop Gwynedd Mercy's ball movement and ability to find open shots. Rosemont would feel the pressure on the offensive end not looking like themselves having a hard time finding the bottom of the net. The first half would end 43-22. The second half would start with a good sense of back and forth scoring from both sides, but Rosemont was unable to cut into the lead of the Griffins. As the second half continued, the Griffins would build on their lead, leading by 30 for a good amount of the second half, Rosemont would find their scoring with about ten minutes remaining they accumulated half of their points in the game. The game finished 80-62 for the Griffins, Rosemont was led by Bruce Black with 22 points, followed by Zaki Gomez with 12.
