Rosemont, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Hosted John Jay Community College as The Ravens Opened up Their Season at Home.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #4 Da'naijah Wise, #9 Emily Rossino, #13 Aniya McDaniel, #21 Yanae Edwards, and #24 Olivia Hamme.
The Ravens got off to a slow start finding themselves down 9-0 before
Aniya McDaniel would get the scoring started for the ravens with a fastbreak layup. This would be the Ravens only field goal of the quarter as they took quality shots but were unable to convert, the second quarter the Ravens found their shot as the shot 6-13 their best quarter shooting of the game. This would lead to sixteen points for the Ravens bringing the score to 44-18 at the half.Â
The second half Da'Naijah Wise would score first with a jumper followed by another jumper by
Emily Rossino.
Olivia Hamme would finish the quarter strong for the Ravens scoring four points in the final minute of the 3rd as the Ravens trailed 70-30. The fourth quarter
Bella Goodrich would score first for the Ravens as
Aniya McDaniel would have eight points with a three pointer taking charge for the Ravens. They would fall to John Jay 87-43Â but not without putting up a tough battle.Â
Leading the way for the Ravens was
Aniya McDaniel with 15 points and four assists followed by Da'Naijah Wise with 11 points.
Olivia Hamme would lead with eight rebounds.

Rosemont will host Penn State Lehigh Valley on 11/11 for their second game of the season at home in Alumnae Hall at 6pm. Go Ravens!
