Allentown, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Muhlenberg to take on the Mules on Their Home Floor.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #01 Zaki Gomez, #02 Bruce Black, #11 Denelle Holly, #24 Jared Sullivan, and #30 Brian Mordi.
Brian Mordi would get the scoring started for the Ravens with a mid-range jumper. The Mules would follow with a 18-2 run to take an early 16 point lead over the Ravens,
Larry Lane would halt the run with a layup followed by a three pointer from
Brian Mordi. The Mules would continue to pressure the Ravens offense as Mulhenberg lead at halftime 46-21.
The second half Coach McGee made defensive adjustments, holding the Mules to only 25 points in the second half. Shared scoring by the Ravens through the first ten minutes of the second half.
Chris Taylor,
Bruce Black, Jaden Flourney, and
Dallas Wilder would all find buckets early in the half. The Ravens would not go down without a fight as they continued to pressure on offense cutting into the Mules lead. Trailing by 19 with 6:26 Muhlenberg would make a big three as Rosemont would fall on the roa to the Mules 51-71.
Leading the way for the Ravens was Brian Mordi with 13 points and 14 boards followed by Chris Taylor with 11 points and two assists off the bench.Â
