The Rosemont College Ravens (0-4) took a tough loss today at the hands of the Gwynedd Mercy Griffins (2-3) 11-1. Junior David McKinney started the game for the Ravens and pitched 3 innings with 1 strikeout. He was followed by sophomore Jack Lally, who went 1 inning and struck out 1. Other pitching highlights for the Ravens included freshman Shane Lennon making his pitching debut for the Ravens. Lennon went 1 inning with no hits and 1 strikeout. Sophomore Brett Angelillo pitched an inning and struck out two batters. Along with this, graduate student Michael Denton pitched 1 inning with no runs and no hits on 8 pitches.  

The Ravens offense started slow but showed serious signs of life near the end of the contest. The offense was led by junior Chris Walton and sophomore Nicholas Skoufalos with 2 hits apiece. Skoufalos also recorded an RBI in his efforts. Junior Samson Gerner also contributed to the Ravens hit total with a hit of his own.  

The Ravens look to bounce back on Sunday, March 3rd against Rutgers-Camden for a double dip at the Camden Athletic Complex. First Pitch for game 1 at 11:30
