The Ravens (3-12, 1-3) dropped Game 1 of the three-game conference series against Clarks Summit 8-6 at Schautz Stadium in Scranton, PA.

Starting pitcher David McKinney went 5 innings, striking out two batters.  Sophomore Nick Skoufalos threw two innings in relief, giving up a run and Chase Masten threw a scoreless 8^th inning.

The Ravens offense outhit the host team 12-9. Junior Jamen Palladino and sophomore Brandon Peake each hit a two-run home run.  It was the first of the season for Palladino and the first in his collegiate career for Peake. Peake had a double and a single in the game, and Palladino ended the game with two hits and three RBI.

Graduate student Dominic Fernicola had three hits and junior third baseman Bobby DiDonato had two hits, including a double as well.

The Ravens look to bounce back on Sunday, March 24^th against Clarks Summit for Games 2 and 3 of the series. The first pitch for Game 1 will be 12:00pm. The games will be held at Devon Preparatory School.
