Senior southpaw Ethen Otstott came in the game in the bottom of the 10th to close things out for the Ravens. He tossed a scoreless bottom frame with a strikeout and no hits giving the senior his first career collegiate save.
Coach Trachtenberg had this to say after the double-header: "This team showed no quit today and also no panic. They competed for 17 innings today and we saw some of our best baseball in the 17th inning of the day. Sean (Smith) and Samson (Gerner) got our offense going in the 10th inning of Game 2 and Ethen (Otstott) pitched a perfect inning after waiting many hours to get his number called. It was a great day of Ravens' Baseball."
The Ravens hope to keep the momentum going as they look to complete the sweep against the Eagles of Saint Elizabeth on Thursday, April 4th. The first pitch is scheduled for 5pm at Heuser Park.
