Wilkes-Barre, PA| The Ravens Traveled to Wilked-Barre to Take on Kings College and Centenary University in a Tri-Match.
How it Happened:
Game 1:
Rosemont lead early in the first set 2-1 but Kings would answer with a six point run taking a 7-2 early jump. Rosemont would find their feet in this set, as they would go down 0-1. The second set the Ravens and the Lions would go back and forth to start the set with both teams going back and forth as the set would be tied 7-7. Contributing one kill from
Madeline McCarthy and three kills from
Bailee Greise early. Rosemont would fall behind in the set as Kings would take the set 25-14. Set thee Rosemont would tie the set early 3-3 with a kill from
Shenan Jackson. The Ravens would fall behind in the set but a run of six points with two service aces from
Madeline McCarthy would bring the Ravens within seven. The Ravens would fall to the Lions 0-3.
Bailee Greise would lead the team with four kills, along with
Fiona Hyland with nine assists.
Shenan Jackson also had eight digs in the contest.
Game 2:
Centenary would get up early on the Ravens in each set, but the girls refused to give up as they would fight back in each set with a run of their own. Rosemont would have 20 digs in the match and eleven kills.
Pearl Smith and
Madeline McCarthy would lead the team with three kills a piece.
Fiona Hyland would have four aces in the game, followed by
Shenan Jackson with two.
Fiona Hyland would also lead the team in assists and digs with five.
