Bryn Mawr, PA | The Ravens (3-15) Welcomed St. Elizabeth Eagles (7-11) for Game Two of an United East Matchup in Alumnae Hall.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #01 Zaki Gomez #02 Bruce Black, #03 Kelton Warren, #13 Chris Taylor, and #30 Brian Mordi.
Winning the Turnover battle, the Ravens forced 26 turnovers and scored 33 points off Saint Elizabeth turnovers.
The Ravens would start off strong going back and forth for the first six minutes of the first half tying the game at (8-8). The Eagles, despite getting into foul trouble early, would then seem to take control, outscoring the Ravens in the first half (46-25).
The Ravens would come out of the locker room with something to prove, shooting 12-29 from the field in the second half. This would help the Ravens pull within 11 of the Eagles (68-57), with only 3 minutes left in regulation. Despite the Ravens' valiant efforts, the Eagles were able to maintain their lead as the Ravens fell (79-66).
Sophomore Forward, Brian Mordi, led the Ravens in points with 15, shooting 33% (4-12) from the field. Mordi also led the team in rebounds (7) and steals (5). Sophomore Forward, Dejuan Taylor, had a strong game off the bench putting up 14 points on 60% (6-10) shooting from the field. Sophomore Guard, Bruce Black, shot 100% from three and put up 12 points in the Ravens' loss.
