La Plume, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Keystone College to take on the Giants in an United East Conference Matchup.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #01 Zaki Gomez, #02 Bruce Black, #13 Chris Taylor, #15 Dejuan Taylor, and #30 Brian Mordi
The Ravens would get out to an early lead in the first five minutes of the contest as
Zaki Gomez would start the scoring for the Ravens with a three assisted by
Bruce Black. The Ravens would build a 9-7 lead before
Chris Taylor would extend the lead with a three of his own. The Ravens defense struggled to slow down the Keystone offense as they would tally 52 points in the first half.
Bruce Black would respond to the Giants run by getting to the foul line and close out the half with 10 consecutive points for the Ravens as they trailed 33-52.
Coach McGee made adjustments coming out of the half slowing down the Keystone offense holding the Giants to 29 points in the second half including four points in the final 10 minutes of the game. The Ravens slowly cut into the Giants lead throughout the second half but their efforts were not enough as they fell short on the road 69-81.Â
Bruce Black led the Ravens with 22 points shooting 9-13 from the foul line.Â
