Bryn Mawr, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed the Lancaster Bible Chargers to Alumnae Hall for an United East Matchup.
How it Happened: Starting for the Ravens was #04 Da'naijah Wise, #05 Mojisola Shokeye, #10 TeKira Knox-Wagner, #13 Aniya McDaniel, and #24 Olivia Hamme.
From the jump, the Chargers came out pressuring the Ravens early forcing rush shot attempts by the Ravens.
Mojisola Shokeye would break through the defense scoring the Ravens first five points including two driving layups. Trailing by twelve at the end of the first quarter coach Farnese made defensive adjustments after allowing twenty-five points.Â
During the second quarter the Ravens would cut the Chargers lead to nine with back-to-back baskets from
TeKira Knox-Wagner. Going into the half the Ravens trailed by seventeen to the Chargers.
During the second half, the Ravens offense struggled in the third only shooting 11.8% from the field. The team was consistent in their shot attempts as they totaled 69 to the Charger 60.Â
The Ravens had a season low number of turnovers in this game as the team tallied only six in the contest.Â
Mojisola Shokeye led the Ravens with 18 points and 12 Rebounds followed by
Lakay Holloway with 12 and
Aniya McDaniel with 10 points; as the Ravens fell to the Chargers 46-73.
