Reading, PA| The Ravens Women's Volleyball Team Traveled to Reading as They Took on the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks in the Beaver Athletics & Wellness Center.
How it Happened:
The Ravens got out to a hot start to start the first set,
Pearl Smith would get Rosemont on the board with a kill assisted by
Mikalya Moffatt. A service ace from Senior
Jana Ehnot would put the Ravens up 3-0 as they started the set up 4-0. Berks would respond with a 10-1 run to capture the lead over Rosemont. The Lady Lions would use this momentum as they took the first set over the Ravens 9-25.
In the second set Rosemont would capture another early lead over the Lady Lions 3-1 with a kill from
Pearl Smith, and another service ace from
Jana Ehnot. Berks responded with a 5-0 run before the Ravens would go back and forth with the Lady Lions. Cameron Roach and
Mya Hanford would find a kills assisted by
Mikalya Moffatt, and
Mya Hanford would assist a kill to
Olivia Oliver. Berks would respond with a small run but
Pearl Smith would find three more kills in the set along with
Brianna Porter with a kill of her own. The Ravens fell in the second set 13-25.
The third set, Berks would open early with two points
Pearl Smith would continue her hot hand with another kill assisted by
Mikalya Moffatt.
Lori Shorten, and
Mikalya Moffatt would also find kills but Rosemont would struggle to string together points in the third set as they would fall 7-25.

The Ravens will Travel to Harrisburg, PA to take on Penn State Harrisburg in the Capital Union Building this Saturday at 7pm for an United East Matchup. Gooo Ravens!
