Rosemont, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed The Washington College Shoreman to Alumnae Hall for an Out-of-Conference Matchup.
Starting for the Ravens was #1 Zaki Gomez, #3 Chris Taylor, #4 Brandon Moore, #5 Robert Sukaly, and #13 Tyler Scarpulla.
How it Happened:
The Ravens would win the tip, but fall behind on two quick buckets from The Shoreman.
Robert Sukaly would answer for the Ravens first points with a corner three assisted by
Chris Taylor. Sukaly, would score the first six points for the Ravens before
Brandon Moore gave Rosemont their first lead of the game with a layup (8-6). The ball kept finding #5 on the offensive end, as he score ten of the Ravens first twelve, showing spark against Washington's 3-2 defense.
Rosemont trailed by five point with eight minutes remaining in the first half as
Dallas Wilder found the bottom of the net to bring them within one possession. Both defense's shined through the first half, forcing missed shots and turnovers.
Zaki Gomez found
Tyler Jackson to give the Ravens a lead (22-21) capping off a 7-2 run. The Ravens would trail the Shoreman by three entering the half (27-24).
The Rosemont defense held Washington scoreless for the first three minutes allowing them to tie it up with a
Zaki Gomez three in transition. A 0-4 run by Washington would give the lead back to them.
Robert Sukaly pulled the Ravens back within one possession with a good jumper. Rosemont did not give up as they continued to fight through the second half. Trailing by eight, Sukaly would get to the line, followed by a layup assisted by
Chris Taylor to bring them back within four points (39-43). The Ravens had a hard time stopping Washington from grabbing rebounds, as they cleaned up in the second chance 0-15. The Shoreman would go on to build their lead on the final five minutes as the Ravens fell in Alumnae hall 46-58.
Leading the way for the Ravens was Robert Sukaly with 19 points on 7/8 FG, and four rebounds.

The Ravens will be back in action on the road this Saturday November 22nd traveling to Scranton, PA to take on Marywood University at 1:00PM.
