Ravens lose Game 1 15-11
Zach Nutley took the mound for the Ravens going 6.1 innings while giving up 3 earned runs. Nutley had 3 strikeouts on the day.
Offensively, the Ravens collected 14 hits. The home team scored 5 runs within the first two innings giving them a 5-1 lead. With the game tied going into the bottom of the third, the Ravens answered back with two of their own. Back-to-back RBI singles from Chris Walton and Bobby DiDonato put the Ravens up 7-5. In the bottom of the 6th, Samson Gerner scored Luke Franklin off of an error by the third baseman to make it an 8-6 game. The Ravens would tack on another 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th, making it 11-9 Rosemont thanks to RBIs from Walton, DiDonato, and Franklin.
Ravens win Game 2 11-8
Jack Lally took the mound for the Ravens in game 2, going 7 innings and striking out 6. Shane Lennon was first out of the pen tossing a strong 8th inning for the Ravens. Nick Vitale shut things down in the 9th giving the Ravens their first conference win of the season.
Offensively, the Ravens took an early lead. The Ravens went up 5-1 within the first two innings thanks to a 2 RBI 2B by Jamen Palladino, and a 2 RBI single by Franklin. In the bottom of the 6h, John Woods got 2 RBIs of his own with an RBI single up the middle to put the Ravens up top 7-4. In the bottom of the 7th, the Ravens added on another 3 runs thanks to RBIs from Collin McCarron, Palladino, and Franklin.
Jack Lally broke another record today with the most strikeouts in a single season in Rosemont Baseball history with 33. The previous record was held by Zachary Nutley with 32 in 2022.
After today's game, Luke Franklin has the most career stolen bases is Rosemont Baseball history with 29 passing Dominic Fernicola.

Head Coach Ross Trachtenberg said after the game: "This was a good day of baseball for us. I am proud our how our pitchers kept us in the game from Zach Nutley and Collin McCarron in Game 1 to Jack Lally, Shane Lennon and Nick Vitale in Game 2. Nick has now pitched in three straight games and has come up big for us in each of them."
