The Rosemont Ravens (11-19, 4-7) traveled to St. Mary's College of Maryland (9-10, 9-2) for a United East Conference game. The visiting Ravens fell behind early and were not able to work their way back into the game.
Three Raven pitchers, Jack Lally, Nick Vitale and Justin Harrison combined to strike out 9 Seahawks. The defense was strong playing errorless baseball.
At the plate, corner infielders Jamen Palladino and Shane Lennon paced the offense with two hits apiece. One of Lennon's hits was an RBI double. Freshman second baseman Collin McCarron had a good day offensively as well, going 1-1 with 3 walks, 3 stolen bases, and a run scored.
The Ravens travel to Neumann University for a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday, April 17th. They return to conference play on Monday, April 21st at PSU-Berks.
