Bryn Mawr, PA| The Ravens Traveled Down the Road to Bryn Mawr College to take on the Golden Owls in Their Home Gym.
How it Happened:
Mya Hanford would get the first kill of the season for the Ravens to tie up the first set 1-1, but Bryn Mawr would go on a 7-0 run to build an early lead. The Ravens would battle through the set including three straight points as
Pearl Smith secured back-to-back aces. The first set would go to the Golden Owls 8-25.
The Ravens would get out to a slow start in the second set falling in a hole early. The Ravens would rally but come short losing the set 6-25. In the third set, The Ravens led early the set before the Owls would capture the lead 5-6. Mikayla Moffatt would find
Lori Shorten for a kill to give the Ravens some momentum but unable to capitalize they would fall 12-25.
Coach Schuler said "With this being the last season of Rosemont Volleyball, the team went out and played with their heart in their season opener. We stumbled a little but picked each other up, and things started to click despite dropping the match."Â

The Ravens are set to have their home opener on September, Eleventh at 7pm in the Hirsh Community Center as they welcome Penn State Schuylkill. Protect the Nest and Go Ravens!Â
