St. Mary's City, MD| The Rosemont Ravens Traveled South for The Futhest Game on the Schedule as they took on the St. Mary's Seahawks in the MPOARC Arena.
Staring for the Ravens was #1 Zaki Gomez, #2 Ty Jones, #3 Chris Taylor, #4 Brandon Moore, and #12 Tyler Jackson.
How it Happened:Â
From the jump, the Ravens defense came out hot and ready, holding the Seahawks scoreless through the first three minutes of the contest. This allowed
Zaki Gomez to give Rosemont the early advantage from the foul line. A strength early turned into a weakness as the Ravens shot 5-13 from the free throw line in the first half. Trailing by ten with four minutes remaining,
Brandon Moore would score four straight as Rosemont pulled back within five points at the half.Â
Moore continued to thrive in the second half, as the Ravens continued to feed him inside. Trailing by ten early, he brought Rosemont back to a three point game, finishing inside, and at the line. With ten minutes remaining, the Rosemont offense went cold, opening holes in the defense allowing the Seahawks to build a lead. The Ravens cleaned up their foul shooting shooting 7-8 in the second half but that was not enough as the Seahawks took the home win 59-42.Â
Rosemont was led by Brandon Moore scoring 17 points, along with 5-6 from the line.
