Starting for Rosemont College was #1 Zaki Gomez, #2 Ty Jones, #3 Chris Taylor, #4 Brandon Moore, and #12 Tyler Jackson.

How it Happened:

Vibes were high in The Pit as Rosemont brought the energy  from the jump clicking on the offensive end. Tyler Jackson got started from downtown followed by Chris Taylor with another three for Rosemont. Holding Valley's scoring early, allowed them to build an early seven point lead over the Patriots. The Ravens would go back and forth with the Patriots through the first as they maintained their lead going into the half. Tyler Jackson led the Ravens with ten points at the end of the first followed by Ty Jones with 7 and a perfect 3-3 from the field.

Holding a small lead over the Patriots to start the second, Rosemont came out strong maintaining their lead over the Patriots. After a Chris Taylor three to put the Ravens up five with fourteen minutes remaining, the offense went cold. Valley Forge built a twelve point lead over Rosemont with seven minutes remaining. Coach McGee and the Ravens did not give up as they pressured on the defensive end, forcing turnovers and strung stops together. A 15-0 by Rosemont propelled them back into the lead, led by defense creating easy offensive looks. The Ravens only allowed four points in the final seven minutes for the Patriots as they kept their playoff chances alive winning 63-61 in The Pit.

The Ravens had four scorers in double digits for the first time this season along with Zaki Gomez finishing with nine points. They were led by Brandon Moore with 16 points and 3 three's followed by Ty Jones with 11 points and five assists.

The Ravens will be back on the road this Saturday January 31st as they travel to Middletown to take on Penn State Harrisburg in their home gym. The game is set to Tip Off at 1:00 PM.
