Box Score Collegeville, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Ursinus University to take on the Bears at Thomas Field.
James Rodier got the Start on the bump for Rosemont as the set of on their yearly match up versus the Bears.
Chase Masten led of the game for the Ravens with a walk as
Joe Bentivegna ripped a shot to left field, putting the Ravens up two over the Bears in the top of the first. Rodier allowed a run in the first but the Ravens held their lead 2-1. Rodier continued to work through the second, trusting his defense to produce a clean inning for the Ravens as they maintained their lead.
In the top of the third
Gary Kroll and
Caiden Spinelli would single with two outs, but the Ravens were unable to bring them home. Ursinus would tack on three in the bottom of the inning as they took the lead 4-2. Rosemont would again have two on with two out in the fourth but unable to score, the Bears added to more to their lead in the bottom of the fourth.
The Ravens rallied in the fifth as
Brandon Peake led off with a single, as
Gary Kroll followed with another single putting two on with no outs for the Ravens.
Caiden Spinelli would sacrifice a ball to the outfield, scoring Peake, before Issac Bugman drive in another run with a ground out as Rosemont cut the Bears lead in half.
Soloman Denmark came in for the bottom of the fifth, giving Rosemont some length out of the pen. Denmark was able to go two innings clean for Rosemont allowing them to cut the Bears lead to one in the bottom of the sixth as Bentivegna drove in Masten with a RBI single (6-5). The Ravens allowed one in the seventh and four in the eighth as the Bears extended their lead 11-5. Rosemont was unable to rally in the top of the ninth as they fell 11-5 to the Bears on the road.

What's Next?
The Ravens will be back in action on Sunday March 15th as the Ravens welcome Lehman College to Upper Merion High School for Alumni Day! The Double header is set to start at 12:00 PM Sunday.
