King of Prussia, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed The Lehman College Lightning to Upper Merion High School for a Non-Confernce Matchup.
Starting for the Ravens on the bump in Game One was #45
Carson Pence.
Allowing an early single on a full count, Pence would settle in to retire his next three batters.
Joe Bentivegna and the Ravens offense opened up early as Bentivegna led of with a triple.
Brandon Peake followed with a walk, taking second base on the first pitch of the next at bat.
Gary Kroll singled to drive in Bentivegna to give the Ravens an early lead.
Caiden Spinelli would pump a ball to right, deep enough to score Peake to give Rosemont a 2-0 to end the first.Â
Lehman responded in the top of the second as they loaded the with one out. Pence did a good job to limit the damage as the lightning scored one to cut in to the Ravens lead.
Chase Masten would reach base with two outs, stealing a bag, a deep flyout by Betivegna would end the inning as Masten was stranded at second.
Pence continued to work through the third, with a little traffic on the bases with one out, he was able to wiggle out with no damage setting up the Rosemont offense. Peake led off with a double, followed by a single from Kroll for his second RBI of the game. Spinelli and Anthony reached by errors with one out, both stealing to put runners in scoring position.
Tahj Wilson walked to load the bases for
Ryan Bowman. A wild pitch brought home Spinelli to give the Ravens a 4-1 lead to end the third.Â
Pence made quick work in in the top of the fourth and fifth, going one-two-three striking out three in six faced.
Jimmy Rodier came in for relief of Pence to start the sixth. With runners on second an third with one out Rodier limited the damage striking out his final batter of the inning. Lehman did score as they cut the Ravens lead to two runs. Patrick McCallister would come in the seventh with two on and one out. Striking out his first batter, McCallister worked to force soft contact for his third out to end the game and give the Ravens a 4-2 victory.

Game Two: Anthony Galli got the start for Rosemont in the second game as they eyed the sweep of the lightning.
Lehman got to Galli early as he allowed three in the first. The Ravens responded as
Chase Masten led of reaching on an error, Peake would reach first on a single with one down as Spinelli was hit by a pitch to load the bases on with two outs.Â
Chase Masten scored on a past ball and Peake and Spinelli moved up a base.
Tahj Wilson drove in another run for the Ravens to cut the difference 3-2 to end the first.
Gisella Schiano came in to relive Galli in the second as a misplayed ball allowed allowed a run for the lighting to expand their lead 4-2. In the bottom of the second, the Ravens responded as
Isaac Bugman and
Chase Masten reached with one out. Bentivegna doubled to score a run, followed by a
Gary Kroll triple to clear the bases and give the Ravens a 5-4 lead. Soloman Denmark came in to start the third as he stuck out two in the top on the inning. The Ravens added on to their lead in the bottom of the third as
Tahj Wilson and
Terrell Robinson led off with a singles,
Chase Masten doubled to drive in one and load the bases for Rosemont.
Gary Kroll hit a hard hit ball to second, scoring tow more and extend the Ravens lead to six.Â
Denmark continued to work in the forth and fifth, forcing soft contact on all seven batters. Rosemont exploded in the bottom of the fifth as the tacked on six more runs to expand their lead 16-4 over the Lightning.Â
Yassine Zekkaria came in to start the sixth,only allowing one through the seventh, the Ravens went on to win 17-5 in Game Two to sweep Lehman College 17-5.Â
