Box Score
RADNOR, Pa. – With outside weather conditions being cold, rainy and windy, playing indoors at the Radnor Racquet Club in climate-controlled conditions unfortunately didn't help the Rosemont women's tennis team today, as the visiting Cedar Crest College Falcons defeated the Ravens 9-0. With the result the Ravens moved to 0-8 overall (0-5 CSAC) while Cedar Crest is now 3-4 (2-3 CSAC).
In the doubles matches, the #1 flight of Emily Javitt and Nyajah Solomon-McCloud fell 2-8. The #3 doubles went down 1-8 while the #2 flight were defeated by an 0-8 score.
In the singles competition, Rosemont came closest to the Falcons in the #6 flight where Danielle Lelie won four games, but ultimately fell 4-8.
Tomorrow's scheduled home match against Penn State – Berks has been postponed with the makeup date to be determined. As a result, the next match on the slate for the Ravens is scheduled for Sunday, 10/4 in a CSAC match against the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy University. The first serve on Sunday is scheduled for 12:00pm.
