ROSEMONT – The Rosemont Ravens women's tennis team (0-3, 0-2 CSAC) were shut out 0-9 by the visiting Cairn University Highlanders (1-3, 1-1 CSAC) on a day that offered perfect playing conditions for tennis.
The Ravens made some noise in the 3rd doubles flight, but the team of Imani McGougan and Niemah Solomon-McCloud ultimately managed three points and the Ravens ended up 0-3 after the doubles matches were over.
McGougan again was in the closest match, this time in the #6 singles, but she ultimately fell by set scores of 4-6, 2-6.
Rosemont will host Penn State – Brandywine in a non-conference match tomorrow starting at 3:30.
