Ravens Swept by Bulldogs

ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Rosemont women's tennis team is still in search of that elusive first win after dropping today's match to the visiting DeSales University Bulldogs by a 9-0 count.

The Rosemont tandem of Julianna Capece and Charli Fillmore were the most competitive in the doubles matches, but they fell in the #1 flight, 8-2.

In the #3 singles flight, the team welcomed back senior captain Emily Javitt for the first time on the courts this season. Javitt gave her team a lift, but the rust from her long layoff was still apparent, as she ended up on the short side of the match count, 6-3, 6-1.

The Ravens are scheduled to play their final away match of the season when they travel to Langhorne to face the Cairn Highlanders. The conference match-up is scheduled for a 12:00pm start.
