Johnston, Mazzeo earn Second Team All-CSAC honors

Five named to honorable mention for playoff-bound squad

Emily Johnston and Maciana Mazzeo were named to the second team All-Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse squad on Tuesday in voting conducted by the conference's coaches.

The duo were the leading scorers on the Ravens this season, helping the program return from a one-year hiatus to earn a berth in the CSAC playoffs on Wednesday night at Keystone College. Mazzeo scored 18 goals and added six assists to have a team high 24 points on 61 shots. This is the third All-CSAC second team honor for Mazzeo, who earned the first two as a member of the Ravens women's soccer program. In addition, Mazzeo was also the recipient of the CSAC Sportsmanship Award.

Johnston has scored 13 goals and added two assists for 15 points on 49 shots. This is the first All-CSAC honor for the junior from John W. Hallahan High School in Philadelphia, who also is on the women's soccer team.

Five other Ravens received honorable mention awards from the CSAC. Those honored were Brianna Clarke, Emma Lindsay, Avery Bramell, J'Nea Jenkins and Lauren Lightcap.
