Rosemont, PA- Rosemont College Athletics has named Damien Price as it's next Head Women's Basketball Coach.

"We are excited to have Damien on board. His experience at several local institutions and knowledge as recruiter in our geographic footprint will be very valuable in helping to rebuild the roster here at Rosemont. Damien's emphasize on mentorship and the development of the student-athlete resonated with our team during the interview process, said Athletic Director, Joe Pavlow. 

Price comes to Rosemont College from Penn State Abington where he assisted in helping guide the team to the playoffs in consecutive years, most recently in 2019. Prior to Penn State Abington, Price was an Assistant at Imhotep Charter High School helping the team to 3 Public League Championships. He also has had stops as an assistant at Chestnut Hill College, Georgian Court University as well as head coaching experience in the Chicago Public High School League.

"I'm honored to be given the opportunity to be the Head Coach at Rosemont College," Price said.  "I can't wait to get started and rebuild a winning tradition."
Price plans to rely upon his experience as Recruiting Coordinator, especially in the fertile recruiting ground of Philadelphia, New Jersey and the Pennsylvania suburbs. 

Price is a graduate of Cheyney University, with a BA in Communications. Price resides in Philadelphia with his family.
