The Raven runners opened up their season at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational on Saturday, September 10th. Both men and women's teams placed 23
rd out of over 30 competing teams. It was the first time since 2019 that either team secured a total team score. For the women, the finishing five were
Lauren Begg,
Jodi Kaiser,
Mara Kudia,
Najah Coon and
Elise Stankus. The men's scorers included
Ryan Olesky,
Allen Frey,
Jeremy Kapsa,
Youniel Perez and
Antione Johnson. First-year Head Coach
Phil Reilly was pleased with the efforts. "For nine of our Ravens, this represented their first collegiate cross country meet and I'm confident we are only going to improve."
The Ravens will toe the line again next Saturday at the CSAC Preview Invitational, hosted by Bryn Athyn College. The women race at 10AM and men at 11AM.
