The Rosemont Ravens took the field for the last time at their home field in King of Prussia, PA. Heuser Park has been the home for Rosemont Baseball since the team's inaugural season in the spring of 2022. This last installment of Ravens Baseball saw the home team fall to visiting Penn State Abington 13-3.
In total, the Ravens' offense collected eight hits. Freshmen Tahj Wilson and Caiden Spinelli joined senior Brandon Peake with two hits each. Both of Peake's hits were doubles, and one of Wilson's was too. After the game Peake had this to say: "I thought the team put together a good effort and showed fight. We showed the development of the team as a whole, as well as what this field and this program mean to us. They (the team) left it all on the field and that's all I and the coaches ask of them."
On the mound, freshman Gisella Schiano continued her strong season pitching a scoreless frame. Fellow freshman Yassine Zekkaria worked a one-run 6th inning as well.
The special day at Heuser Park started with a ceremonial first pitch from Team Chaplain, Professor Roseann Rissmiller. In addition to attending games, practices, and other team activities, Professor Rissmiller has taught nearly every Raven over the past five years as a professor of Writing. "When Rosie offered to help as the Team Chaplain when I was hired to start this baseball program at Rosemont, I had no idea the immediate and incredible impact she would have on not only the players, but also on me as the Head Coach." Head Coach Ross Trachtenberg continued: "Professor Rissmiller represents the larger Rosemont community in the way she cares for every single player. She shows up for them and lets them know how important they are to the team, but also to the College as a whole."
The Ravens travel to Gwynedd Mercy on Sunday, April 26th for a non-conference doubleheader to conclude the 2026 campaign.
