Winning two consecutive championships didn't come from luck, it came from culture according to Head Coach John Loiodice. Rosemont's Men's Soccer Program showed remarkable determination by winning two consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference championships in 2021 and 2022. Coach John Loiodice credits the team's strong commitment, the support from Rosemont, and the players' determination as key factors that helped them achieve these impressive victories

Early on, the connection wasn't immediate for Coach John. But as relationships with staff, players, and the College's history grew, so did the program's identity to him. Recruitment and building help with "bringing in high-level players who were committed to their education changed everything. It shifted the culture. Suddenly, more players were focused, aligned, and moving in the right direction."

A clear vision and preparation defined the run. Knowing what the program should look like and the type of student-athletes that fit perfectly secured success for the Rosemont Men's Soccer Program. Adapting to adversity and change required flexibility, but it also created belief within the Rosemont players. Coach John wanted to be sure his players never felt less than their opponents, and the senior leaders on the Men's Soccer team fully embraced the culture change.

"Learning the college would merge was devastating" Coach John expressed in his interview. His immediate concern was the players. Many left with uncertainty and without a place to play. The focus became acts of service, helping them find new schools, offering guidance, and reinforcing belief that they would land on their feet. The championships remain special to Coach John, but the experience means more. It's bittersweet pride and gratitude for unforgettable memories, paired with sadness that there is no future Athletics at the institution.

"What stands out most is the growth of the athletes. They earned their degrees, competed at a high level, and carried the core values learned through soccer into life. The bond remains strong, players still connect, meet up, and support one another."

"Though the school may be merging, the Program lives on through its people. And as long as alumni, players, and the community stay connected, the legacy of Rosemont will not be forgotten." - Coach John Loiodice.
