Box Score 2 Rosemont snatched the lead late in game 1 with Lo Begg's inside the park HR for a 4-3 victory over Notre Dame of MD University on Thursday. The Ravens trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth when CSAC hits leader (32),
Lauren Begg slapped the ball through the Left Center gap off a 1-1 count, the shot went out to the fence and Begg outran the relays scoring flyers Sylvana "Sly" DiRuggier,
Jade Gomez-Chavarria, and herself for the game winning run.
Begg also pitched the Ravens to her 5
th victory going all seven innings. She allowed four hits and three runs while striking out three.

Olivia Hamme,
Sylvana DiRuggieri, and Begg each collected one hit to lead Rosemont College.
The Ravens took game 2 by a score of 5-1 over the Gators in convincing fashion.
The offense was firing on all cylinders from the jump. Captain,
Analisa Yoder drove in the first with a double in her first AB.
Sylvana DiRuggieri, pinch running for Yoder, stole third, and scored the game-winning run on a hard hit ground ball to second by
Olivia Hamme (GWRBI).
Dani Sharpe earned the win for Rosemont. The righty went seven innings for another complete game, allowing one run on six hits, striking out two and walking one.
The Ravens saw the ball very well, raking 12 hits in the game.
Kendyll Strohl,
Jade Gomez-Chavarria,
Emily Bingman, and
Kylee Kubitschek each racked up multiple hits for Rosemont College. Kubitschek, Bingman, Gomez-Chavarria, and Strohl each collected two hits each, none more rewarding than Captain,
Emily Bingman's historic 100
th of her career. The Ravens tore up the base paths too (#10 in the nation in SBs), as
Jade Gomez-Chavarria led the way with three, Begg stole two more, and
Kendyll Strohl and Sly DiRuggieri each stole one.
The Ravens take on the Eagles from St. Elizabeth Friday night at 4:30/6:30 at Rosemont Field.
