Box Score 2 Aston, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Aston, PA to take on Penn State Brandywine who has not Been Beaten in the Confernce Play this Season.
How it Happened:Â
Game One: Starting Pitching in Game One #7 Alicia Gotts.
Alicia Gotts would get the Ravens started in the top of the fist inning with a single, but the Ravens were unable to bring her home. The Nittany Lions came out hot scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead over Rosemont. The Ravens would draw back-to-back walks by
Rose Chando and
MaLayna Blanco with two out bringing up
Josie Krieman who would double clearing the bases bring the Ravens within one run 2-3. Brandywine would respond in the bottom of the inning scoring four more runs to extend their lead over the Ravens. In the top of the third inning Emilee Dickenson would double with one out followed by another double from
Bailee Greise to score Dickenson shortening the Noittany Lions lead (3-6). In the bottom of the third a Home Run would add their more runs for Brandywine.
Alicia Gotts would respond with a Home Run of her own after a single by
Kendyll Strohl scoring two runs for the Ravens as they trailed 5-9 ending the top of the fifth. The Ravens failed to score again in the contest leaving runners on base in the sixth and seventh inning as they fell in game one 5-11.
Game Two: Josie Krieman would take the Ball in Game two for the Ravens.
The Ravens offense would find themselves with two runners on and no outs in the top of the first inning following back-to-back singles by
Olivia Hamme and
Bailee Greise. three straight outs by the Ravens would strand the runners. Krieman would strikeout three batters through the first two innings to keep the game scoreless going into the third. In the bottom of the third inning, a triple by the Nittany Lions would score two runs to give them the lead after 3 innings. In the top of the fifth, a single by
Rose Chando would give the Ravens some momentum with one out.
Kylee Kubitschek would walk followed by a single by
Josie Krieman, Blanco would pinch run for Chando but would be thrown out at home trying to get the Ravens on the board.
Kendyll Strohl would single with two outs to put the Ravens on the board as they trailed 1-2. In the bottom of the inning a passed ball would score a run for Brandywine extending their lead 1-3. The Ravens would find themselves with two runners on and one out in the top of the sixth inning but unable to convert, the Ravens still trailed 1-3. Brandywine would build on their lead in the bottom of the inning as they would beat the Ravens 1-5.
Krieman would finish with eight strikeouts, 2 walks, and three earned runs.

The Ravens will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Chambersburg to take on Wilson College at 2pm for a double header. Go Ravens!
