LA PLUME, Pa. – The Rosemont Ravens volleyball team came away from today's quad match, hosted by Keystone College, with a win and two losses; the win their first of the season. The Ravens were defeated in the opener against Keystone 0-3. In their second match of the day the Ravens were also swept, this time by Wilkes University. In their final match of the day the Ravens defeated Medgar Evers, 3-0.

Eve Romanowski was named to the Keystone Invitational Tournament's All-Tournament Team.

The Ravens are 1-10 on the season (0-2 CSAC).

Match 1 - Rosemont @ Keystone

The Giants made fairly quick work of the Ravens, defeating Rosemont in straight sets by scores of 25-13, 25-7 and 25-16.

Leilani Carter served up two aces and Aly Pizzo led the Ravens with eight digs, while Eve Romanowski shared blocks with Nadirah Anderson and Carter to lead the Ravens with two. Romanowski also led the Ravens with nine kills.

Match 2 - Rosemont vs. Wilkes

The Ravens gave a good effort against the Colonels of Wilkes University, but ultimately fell in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-14.

Nadirah Anderson led the Ravens with three solo blocks while Leilani Carter had three assisted blocks for the Ravens. Anderson led Rosemont with five kills. Lexy Mrongowius' serve was working in this match, as she served up four aces.

Match 3 - Rosemont vs. Medgar Evers

The Ravens played a close match against Medgar Evers, but held together as a team to earn their first victory of the season. The Ravens won in straight sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-19).

Leilani Carter was key at the net as she was credited with six kills to lead the Ravens. Nadirah Anderson and Eve Romanowski each had four kills for Rosemont.
